Q. What if my study timetable doesn’t allow me to attend minimum of three days per week during office hours?
A. International students who are unable to attend the required three days per week during studies can ask to attend the internship in summer after exams. Students granted a post-study work visa after successful completion of studies with Melbourne Polytechnic can undertake the internship while on the post-study work visa.
Q. Student visa holders can only work 40 hours per fortnight while course is in session, will the internship be counted in this 40 hours?
A. No, International students will enrol in the unit Work Effectively in a Business Environment with Ready Grad, a registered RTO, so the internship is not considered work contributing to the 40hour capacity student visa holders are limited to.
