Vineyards

Melbourne Polytechnic owns extensive vineyards around Victoria, providing our Viticulture and Winemaking students with a real-world classroom.

Our vineyards include an 8ha vineyard in the Northern Lodge Training Centre at Eden Park and a 28ha at our Ararat Training Centre. We also manage the Growling Frog Golf Course vineyard in Yan Yean.

In these exquisite training environments, you will develop practical skills in a commercial vineyard, for both red and white grapes. Many of the grapes produced on our vineyards go on to become wines served in Melbourne Polytechnic’s student restaurants.
