Industry-led practical learning

Our newly-refurbished Greensborough campus features state-of-the-art facilities. These facilities include simulation suites for our health programs, a high-tech fit-out for business studies and great student activity areas. This practical approach to learning is reflected in our courses, which are underpinned by industry priorities.

Precinct partnerships for a local community

Melbourne Polytechnic’s Greensborough campus precinct partners complement and expand our education offerings. These partnerships will make the Greensborough campus a true multi-purpose precinct, hosting community and local industry alongside education.

  • Banyule Nillumbik Local Learning and Employment Network supports students to improve education, training and employment outcomes.
  • Careers Education Association Victoria supports students through career development services including group counselling, career guidance appointments, work experience preparation, employment preparation and career management.
  • Diamond Valley Learning Centre provides a range of courses, pre-accredited training and support for students to find employment and career pathways.
  • Melbourne Innovation Centre (MIC) gives students access to their internationally-acclaimed business incubator. They provide expertise, training programs and networks to local businesses (including robotics and new energy) to help generate and grow sustainable enterprises, create employment opportunities and assist with economic development across the community. MIC will offer a range of short courses including Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking at Melbourne Polytechnic Greensborough.
  • Banyule Tech School, one of ten state-of-the-art tech schools using leading-edge technology, discovery and innovation to deliver advanced education and training to local school age students, is located at our Greensborough campus.

What can I do on campus and in Greensborough?

Our spacious, light-filled library has stunning Melbourne city skyline views. Browse our range of reference materials, DVDs and magazines, or take the time to catch up on your reading.

The library is a great place to relax, but if you’re feeling more active, shoot some hoops on our basketball court. Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness is across the road from our campus. It includes a fully-equipped health club with a large range of group fitness classes, as well as an indoor sports stadium with six multi-purpose courts.

Our Greensborough campus is close to the WaterMarc aquatic centre for water slide fun. We’re also close to the Greensborough shopping plaza, which has a huge variety of shops, including two supermarkets and a HOYTS cinema.
