In 2022, Melbourne Polytechnic officially signed a cooperation agreement in training with FPT Polytechnic, establishing Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam.
FPT Polytechnic is a vocational training college under the parent company, FPT Education Group. FPT Education Group was established in 2010 with 7 campuses throughout Vietnam. They have 40.000+ students who have gained employment with over 500 companies and 97.7% students getting jobs immediately upon graduation.
Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam students will be trained with the Australian standard program, study 100% in Vietnam, and upon graduation, they will receive an Australian nationally accredited VET qualification awarded by Melbourne Polytechnic Australia.
This is one of the advantages for Vietnamese students, opening up opportunities for students to be able to work in a professional environment, and approach and work in multinational enterprises or large corporations upon graduation.
