Since graduating from the Certificate IV in Music and Advanced Diploma of Music at Melbourne Polytechnic in 2003, Ania has built an impressive career as a musician and composer performing her compositions on five continents around the world.
She is currently the Musical Director at Circus Oz and continues to work as a freelance composer and musician. Ania has worked for companies including Polyglot Theatre, Melbourne Workers’ Theatre, NICA and The Women’s Circus. In 2011 she won a Green Room Award for Best Musical Direction in Cabaret. In 2016 she composed the soundtrack to choreographer Ghenoa Gela’s ‘Fragments of Malungoka’, which won the Keir Choreographic Award.
Ania says, “Studying at Melbourne Polytechnic introduced me to many different genres of music and also opened my eyes to other career possibilities within the music/arts industry as well as music performance.”
