Alisa Surya

Before I started my OQP course, I felt lost and lacked the confidence in finding employment in Melbourne.

I had been trying for almost one year with little success. Soon, after starting OQP I began to feel more confident in applying and acknowledging the requirements in order to gain employment in Australia, as the work culture is different to that of Indonesia.

I have a bachelor of Accounting from the University of Indonesia and a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Melbourne.

My past work experience involved working with Ernst & Young as an external auditor, also as a finance consultant at Accenture and as a business analyst at an agribusiness company.

Alisa is a Business Analyst, Melbourne Health, part of the NMIT OQP program at Melbourne Health giving the opportunity for work placement to participants in Melbourne Polytechnic's Overseas Qualified Professional Program.
