St Georges Restaurant

Experience the divine homemade gnocchi, or the seafood bouillabaisse for yourself – St Georges Restaurant is where our hospitality students learn their craft.

St Georges offers an elegant and relaxed dining atmosphere. There’s a full à la carte menu service available.

Some of the wine and beer on our menu is produced by Melbourne Polytechnic's Viticulture and Winemaking students from our own vineyards. You will not want to miss the cocktail and mocktail of the day! Prices are affordable, so you can dine in while supporting our future chefs. We’re a busy little restaurant, and offer Master Chef dinners too. Tripadvisor think we’re a great find – you can read their review here.


Tuesday Dinner – it may be anything from a themed menu to a degustation dinner. Always exciting as they will be constructed and prepared by our apprentice chefs.

Friday Lunch – We offer a bistro style menu that will usually changes fortnightly. It provides a range of different cuisines so there is something for everybody.

Trading Hours

Lunch Service: 12pm-2pm – Monday-Friday
Dinner Service: 7pm-9pm – Tuesday-Thursday

The restaurant is closed on weekends and during student holidays but is available for private functions throughout these periods. Contact us directly for more information.
