Prepare for a career in the health industry. You'll develop skills to assist allied health professionals as they care for clients across a range of areas such as physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

Where will the Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance HLT33021 (VDSS) take me?

With this qualification you can go into roles such as allied health assistant, patient services assistant, rehabilitation assistant and therapy assistant or aid.

Study Pathways

After completing this program, you can pathway to further study at higher levels including Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance HLT43021 or other qualifications from the HLT or CHC training packages.

ATAR Contribution

If you wish to receive an ATAR contribution for the Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET Health, you must undertake scored assessment (Year 2) for the purpose of achieving a study score. This study score can contribute directly to your ATAR, either as one of your best four studies (the primary four) or as a fifth or sixth study.

Credit in VCE or VCE VM

This course provides recognition of two VCE VET units at Unit 1 and 2 level, a scored VCE VET Unit 3–4 sequence and an additional non-scored VCE VET Unit 3–4 sequence.
