International Welcome Day 2026

The International Student Welcome Day introduces International students to the support services available to all students.

VET and Higher Education Students:

Date: Thursday 9 July 2026
Time: 10:30am – 12:30pm (Melbourne, Australia Time)
Venue: Melbourne Polytechnic Preston Campus, Elaine Forde Theatre, Building F, Room 104

If you are not in Melbourne, the online session is on: 
Date: Friday 10 July 2026
Time: 2pm (Melbourne, Australia Time)

• Logging in to student Learning site: Moodle
• Library resources and IT Help
• Learning Skills and Study support services
• Counselling Services
• Student Life at Melbourne Polytechnic (SLAM)
• Employment Rights and Responsibilities
• International Student Free Legal Aid

Note: this is not a Course Orientation, all students (international and domestic) will also need to attend a compulsory Orientation for their Course of Study.
