Withdrawals and Refund Information

Important: Please include credit card details to ensure you can be refunded in the most efficient manner, it is a longer process to receive a cheque

Full refund of all payments will be made for ANY course cancelled by Melbourne Polytechnic.

Applications for refunds may take up to two weeks to process, however during peak periods the processing time may be extended.

Where possible credit card refunds can fast track the refund process. Where we do not have credit card details provided on the refund form, a cheque will be issued within three weeks of receiving your refund confirmation letter.

Refund for a Local Student

Application for refund is a 4-step process:

  1. Read Refund and Fee Information flyer to determine refund eligibility regarding class/course withdrawal
  2. Notify Melbourne Polytechnic in writing of your request to withdraw, by completing the Student Request Form or by contacting your Department.
  3. Complete the Application for Refund of Fees form given to you by the Student Hub or Department.
  4. Submit completed form to refunds@melbournepolytechnic.edu.au

You will be notified in writing of the outcome of your refund application
