Arboriculture courses in Melbourne, Victoria

If you're looking to turn your passion for nature into a meaningful career, then Arboriculture could be the path for you. This specialised industry is dedicated to the care and maintenance of urban trees and shrubs. Our Arboriculture programs blend theory and practice giving you key skills needed to cultivate and care for trees, ensuring a safe, healthy and green urban environment.

You'll be on track to become an Arborist and play a crucial role in urban forestry, landscaping, and conservation efforts. You could work for cities, making sure local trees are safe and healthy. Or join landscaping teams, creating green spaces and planting new saplings for the next generation. Spend your days outdoors in gardens and parks or pursue contract roles in an office, such as an Urban Planning Specialist or Timber Analyst.

Experience field-based learning delivered by industry experts at our beautiful green Fairfield campus and get ready to grow your career, one tree at a time.

The day I walked in to Melbourne Polytechnic, everything turned around. Studying here gave me confidence, and opened doors for my future and for my work career.
