One of the best!

Melbourne Polytechnic has been named one of the best vocational colleges in the Asia Pacific region.

Ranking 21st out of 50 colleges across the region at the 2018 Education Forum for Asia Annual Conference held last month in Chengdu, China. Melbourne Polytechnic was competing against hundreds of thousands of vocational colleges in the region. The conference brings together political leaders, universities and ambassadors from across 26 countries. The conference was established by UNESCO and the Chinese Ministry of Education.

Three Australian VET providers made the top 50 list. Melbourne Polytechnic is the highest ranked Australian provider, coming in at 21st place, South Metropolitan TAFE based in Fremantle, WA came in at 26th and Bendigo Kangan Institute achieved 31st place. Melbourne Polytechnic partners with different education providers to deliver joint programs and two partner schools Shanghai Industry + Commercial Foreign Languages College and Sichuan College of Architectural Technology were ranked 17th and 23rd respectively, outstanding results for these quality institutions.
