About the exhibition
There are three artists exhibiting glass work which reflects the influence of their culture on themselves and their work.
Rickie Gugumah Martin – First Nations artist – Rickie joined the workshop program in September 2022 and enrolled into Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (Designed Glazing) MSF30422 in March 2023 and is a current MP student (A piece of Rickie’s glass work is at the top of this email)
Shea Oberleuter – whose father is a Torres Strait Island man – completed Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (Designed Glazing) MSF30422 in 2022 and is currently enrolled in Certificate IV in Glass and Glazing MSF40422
Gayle Silveira – First Nations artist – Gayle jointed the workshop program in August 2022 and has continued to develop her glass work attending the program.
