The Board and staff of Melbourne Polytechnic are delighted to share with you Melbourne Polytechnic’s new five-year Strategic Plan 2024 -2028.
It includes our new vision to create an inclusive, sustainable, and thriving community inspired by learning, which is centred on the experiences and success of students.
With a history stretching back more than 100 years through its antecedent institutions, Melbourne Polytechnic is one of the largest providers of vocational education and training in Victoria, with seven campuses and one training centre concentrated across Melbourne’s north and the inner cities of Prahran and Collingwood.
Placing student success unambiguously at the centre, the Plan builds upon strong industry connections, ensuring the institute can respond quickly to a changing economy, job market and climate and contribute to the prosperity and wellbeing of the communities we serve.
The Plan also prioritises sustainable and ethical practices and governance, establishing an ambitious target of Net Zero by 2040.
Chief Executive, Frances Coppolillo said “We believe that communities thrive when everyone has the same opportunities to learn, work and participate in the economic and social activities surrounding them.”
“We offer a place where students can learn, grow and belong, and where they can ultimately become engaged, global citizens,” said Ms Coppolillo.
