About the role

NMIT is seeking to appoint an innovative, qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Librarian. You will be a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with excellent subject knowledge.

Your primary objectives will be:
  • Manage the acquisitions of library resources in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Manage task allocation and workflow in the Resources Unit to ensure efficient outcomes

About You

The successful applicant will be a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with:
  • Relevant tertiary library qualifications and experience in acquisitions within a tertiary educational setting.
  • Highly developed customer service, interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated organisational/project management skills with the capacity to manage complex tasks, work efficiently and productively under pressure.
  • Proven initiative and problem solving skills resulting in improved work practices.

The salary will be $40,549 - $51,835 (LO3.1 - LO3.7) per annum.
