Rupakshi Nischal

Rupa a Registered Nurse and pathology teacher at Melbourne Polytechnic. After many enjoyable years as a nurse in acute and subacute settings, she turned to her true calling of teaching pathology. Rupa brings her clinical and teaching expertise to the classroom. She understands that the technical precision of pathology can sometimes be daunting for new students. She shares various experienced-based problem-solving techniques and strategies during practical sessions which gives supports students as they enhance their technical skills.

Rupa has been teaching for over a decade. She incorporates various teaching and learning methods in the classroom and pathology labs, involving independent and group tasks. Theory that is delivered in the class is practiced in the lab to ensure her students are job-ready. Rupa is passionate about sharing her technical and clinical expertise in the class. She finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of students' journey and see them progress from the classroom to Industry.  

Rupa holds a Bachelor of Nursing and Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing. She has supported her practical industry skills with a Dual Diploma in Vocational Education & Training and Training Design & Development to further enhance her teaching skills.
