Kylie Doye

Board Appointed Director, Melbourne Polytechnic Board

Kylie brings 25 years of experience in the Education and Training sector and 10 plus years of serving on boards, councils and committees.

Currently, Kylie chairs the Big Blue Foundation, a charity that works to preserve our environment for today and tomorrow, is a board member of the Big Blue Ocean Group and a trustee of Lizard Island Reef Research Foundation.

Beginning her career as a teacher, Kylie has taught and lectured programs at post graduate level. She was Academic Director of Monash Online and has held education leadership roles at Swinburne, QUT, WSU online and the Department of Education and Training Victoria.

Kylie brings significant experience in the areas of regulation, accreditation, partnership and joint venture training programs. Additionally, she has worked and led organisations that have responded quickly to changing economies and job markets, this experience will strengthen Melbourne Polytechnic to offer innovative, inclusive and future focused courses that are aligned to industry, future jobs and learner needs.

Kylie is passionate about the learner being at the heart of decisions and is excited to serve as an interested and active board member. She was appointed to the board in May 2026.
