Performing Arts

The performing arts department offers courses designed to prepare you for live performance and to help build your career in the music industry. We offer one on one teaching, collaborative projects and introductions to industry networks.

Melbourne Polytechnic Performing Arts department delivers training at FairfieldCollingwood and Prahran campuses.  We offer industry-standard recording studios, high definition television and commercial video editing facilities to a broad range of industry clients.

Music students have access to recording studios and rehearsal spaces decked out with modern equipment. We have computer laboratories with the latest software and hardware, and we offer fully equipped performance theatres.

Melbourne Polytechnic's Certificate IV in Screen and Media is at the cutting edge of broadcast education in Australia. You will have access to a $2.1 million world class television studio. The studio provides the opportunity for direct experience in industry standard computer-based workflows.
