Mei Leng Rankin

Mei Leng Rankin holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and a Master of Economics from Monash University. With over 38 years of experience as a higher education lecturer, she has taught various business and economics subjects both in Australia and internationally.

At Melbourne Polytechnic, she has lectured in areas such as Quantitative Methods, Economics,
Management Principles, Contemporary Leadership, Innovation and Creativity, Intrapreneurship and Foundations of Business.

Her expertise spans data development and sampling designs, economic and business modelling, trend analysis, and the use of statistical tools for forecasting and planning and in leadership training. Her current research interests include ethical leadership, fostering innovation and creativity capabilities and exploring gamification in engaged learning.
