Strategic partnership with CICRA

Melbourne Polytechnic has signed an agreement with CICRA, a key Sri Lankan Tertiary Vocational Education Commission entity and approved centre for higher education.

In partnership with CICRA, Melbourne Polytechnic will commence delivery of the Certificate IV in Marketing and Communications BSB40820 as well as the Diploma of Marketing and Communications BSB50620 as both a stand-alone offering in Sri Lanka, and also as a Bachelor of Business pathway program.

This innovative program offers Sri Lankan students the flexibility to complete the pathway program at the CICRA Campus in their homeland and gain direct entrance to Year 2 of the Bachelor of Business at Melbourne Polytechnic in Australia.

“The Bachelor of Business pathway saves time and money for students seeking to study in Australia and also provides vocational outcomes for career progression in Sri Lanka,” said CICRA Campus Group Director/CEO Boshan Dayaratne.

The new partnership builds upon Melbourne Polytechnic’s growing international product portfolio and strong track record in international education development. The institution has cultivated long-term international programs at partner institutions in China (including Hong Kong), Korea and Indonesia.

Supporting the dreams of Sri Lankan students

“We are proud to work with CICRA and look forward to supporting Sri Lankan students pursue their dreams to study in Australia and gain a qualification with industry relevance,” Melbourne Polytechnic Chief Executive Frances Coppolillo said.
