The award recognises our outstanding success in our growing transnational education programs which bring in valuable export dollars for the state of Victoria.
Melbourne Polytechnic was one of a number of Victorian businesses award winners recognised at the 45th GOVEA held at Government House on 17 September.
Hosted by Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC Governor of Victoria and Minister for Economic Growth, Tim Pallas, the event celebrated the state’s most innovative exporters that have achieved success on an international scale.
Building on more than 25 years of transnational education, Melbourne Polytechnic continues to grow its suite of transnational education partnerships and student enrolments, setting the scene for further expansion in 2025 and beyond.
To date, Melbourne Polytechnic has cultivated long-term international programs with 15 partner institutions in China (including Hong Kong), Vietnam, South Korea, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
Melbourne Polytechnic Chief Executive, Frances Coppolillo, said, "Melbourne Polytechnic’s international program is a true success story forged in strong relationships with our transnational education partners and leveraging the support of our Victorian and Australian Government trade agencies. We look forward to building on this success and continuing our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences and outcomes to our students, regardless of their location".
Melbourne Polytechnic and other GOVEA winners will proceed as national finalists to the 62nd Australian Export Awards, which will be held on Wednesday 20 November at Parliament House, Canberra.
