Human Services and Education Department (VET)

Our Human Services and Education department is experienced and dedicated to ensure you develop skills and knowledge that can be put to work in a range of careers working with people in the health, community and education.

We continue to forge strong connections with various health and community organisations by developing our students knowledge and skills that are in demand and add value to the industry.

You will get real life experience in our practical room facilities and through industry placements. The department offers most courses across a number of our campuses.

Melbourne Polytechnic's Education teaching team have diverse backgrounds, experience and expertise that supports informative and robust programs.

Our Early Childhood Education courses will teach you about infant care, supporting children’s play and learning, nutrition, cooperative behaviour, and how to identify young people at risk.
