Special Circumstances are events that are considered beyond your control, make their full impact on or after the census date and make it impracticable for you to complete the requirements of the unit/units.

All applications for a refund assessment must be made via the Refunds Application Form.

Applicants must also ensure the following if they are fully or partially withdrawing:

  • Courses I-IV- to submit the refund application form prior to or within 28 days of confirmed course commencement or re-enrolment commencement date.
  • Diploma and above- to submit on or before the census date.

All applicants must also advise of their withdrawal in writing to their teaching department via email; or to the Student Hub via the Student Request Form.
