The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) delivered by Melbourne Polytechnic gives you work-related experience in the industry of your choice, literacy and numeracy skills, and more.
The VCAL is a hands-on study option for recognised and accredited senior secondary school certificates. If you’re still at school or have already left, and are over 15 years old, this course is a great way to broaden your options for further study or work.
Melbourne Polytechnic offers a variety of VCAL programs covering different industry areas from carpentry to creative industries. After completing a VCAL program, you can go on to complete a pre-apprenticeship course, an apprenticeship or commence a vocational education and training (VET) course.
Melbourne Polytechnic’s range of VCAL programs include a VCAL Ticket to a Trade, where you can try out different trades to help you find a career path that best suits you.
