Australia prides itself on being an inclusive, harmonious, and multicultural society. If your English language skills need a bit of help or a lot of coaching, we have an EAL course for you.
Melbourne Polytechnic provides helpful courses for adult learners where English is an additional language. Our courses will equip you with language and cultural skills needed to live and work productively in the Australian community, or to enter employment or further study.
With a primary focus on English skills, our EAL courses also teach Australian culture and history, Australian government and law, basic computing, current affairs, and health and medical information.
Our EAL students have successfully gone on to work in areas such as community work, childcare, the health sector, aged care, or hospitality.
