Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP)

Our Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) provides up to 510 hours of basic English language tuition to migrants and refugees from non-English speaking backgrounds.

If you are a newly-arrived migrant or refugee, our program is designed to help you settle successfully in Australia and take up employment, training or further study. All courses are customised to meet your individual learning needs, and cover speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

Course in Preliminary Spoken and Written English - Foundation Studies Department - AMEP - SEE - VTG
Melbourne Polytechnic's Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) Course in Preliminary Spoken and Written English provides newly-arrived migrants and refugees the opportunity to learn the very basics of the English Language and will assist in settling in to life in Australia. The course is designed to help advance into further levels of English language education or training, and is customised to meet individual learning needs
