The French Wine Scholar course is appropriate for specialist wine sales staff and enthusiasts of French wine. It is licensed from Washington DC, taught in 11 countries and is supported by the French regional wine authorities
The course and costs, include:
- printed text
- electronic course support materials including revision quizzes
- a year’s access to the FWS site
- the exam
Total hours: 36
Sessions: 9 x 4 hrs (9 online evenings, 1 full day and including exam -held on campus)
There are no particular prerequisites for this course but it is desirable that you have the WSET Level 3 qualification or a good general knowledge of major French wine regions.
The course cost includes the fee for on-campus exam. It is possible to sit the exam online for an additional fee.
