Completion of this nationally recognised unit MSAPMOHS220A Basic First Aid Level 1 – Provide Initial First Aid Response will earn you credits towards the Certificate III in Process Manufacturing (MSA30107).

This nationally accredited course is specifically designed for the workplace and provides participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide initial emergency care in accordance with approved first aid principles.

Topics include:
  • safety at the scene
  • calling for assistance
  • airway management
  • expired air resuscitation (EAR) technique
  • assessment of casualty’s circulation
  • cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) technique
  • external haemorrhage control
  • post-recovery management
