In the 'A Fitter Me' short course, participants will explore different aspects of enhancing their participation in the community. The course enables participants to develop confidence with travel, looking at activities within the community and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Training Volunteer Tutors
The Volunteer Tutor Scheme prepares you to teach English to a refugee or migrant, for one hour per week, on a voluntary basis. The students you will tutor are either unable to come to classes due to issues such as illness or caring responsibilities, or may need extra support even though they already attend class. Voluntary work is a great addition to your resume, and you will receive a certificate and a free police check as part of the process.
Cafe Culture
Come and be a part of our 4 day holiday program, Cafe Culture. The course and learn the art and skills of coffee making, refreshments and simple meal preparation. This course gives participants an insight into the cafe industry and other work opportunities.
