Melbourne Polytechnic welcomes the Victorian government’s announcement of Free TAFE for Priority Courses which will fund 30 non-apprenticeship courses and 18 pre-apprenticeship courses at TAFE level in growth industries for eligible students from 2019.
The Free TAFE for Priority Courses program in Victoria aligns with Melbourne Polytechnic’s commitment to real job outcomes for students and strengthens our partnerships with industries and communities around the state.
Melbourne Polytechnic offers 20 of the free TAFE courses announced so far with the government poised to announce a further 10 courses in July 2018.
This is a significant saving for eligible students who will gain a head start in earning potential while pursuing their dream career. Eligible students will still need to pay other fees, such as materials and student services.
