Stonefield debut at #21

Congratulations to Stonefield who debuted their first album “Stonefield” at number 21 on the ARIA charts!

Originating from Darraweit Guim, a small town in rural Victoria, Stonefield consists of four sisters including NMIT Bachelor of Australian Popular Music (now known as the Bachelor of Music) graduate Amy Findlay. Amy studied at NMIT’s Fairfield campus and graduated in 2010.

Stonefield first came to note after winning Triple J’s unearthed high competition in 2010. (see Media Release) The single “Foreign Lover”, produced with the help of the Head of Program for the Bachelor of Music Industry, Greg Arnold, beat over 600 songs to be named winner.

Since then Stonefield have released two E.Ps in addition to their debut album and have toured both nationally and internationally. Stonefield are currently on an Australian tour following the release of their album. (See Stonefield Facebook Page)
