Plastering student heads to Trans Tasman Challenge on the Gold Coast

Congratulations to Aydin Hudaverdi, a student in Melbourne Polytechnic’s  Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining, who is heading off to the Gold Coast in October for the Trans Tasman Apprentice Challenge.

Aydin recently competed in the Victorian heats of the Australian Wall and Ceiling Industries Apprentice Challenge and successfully placed as runner up in the day-long plastering competition. He will now represent Victoria at the AWCI ANZ Trans Tasman competition at SeaWorld in Queensland in October 2015.

Both Victorian competitors will be trained by Melbourne Polytechnic’s Doug Vaux, teacher in the Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining.
