NMIT students showcase art in ‘Botanica’ at Bundoora Homestead

10 Jun 2014

Visual Arts students from NMIT (Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE) will showcase their art at the Bundoora Homestead Art Centre from Wednesday 4 June to Sunday 22 June.

NMIT’s annual art showcase features mixed media and works on paper exploring the landscape and notions of space, place and environment.

Students from courses across the Visual Arts Department travelled to the Royal Botanic Gardens in March this year to spend the day drawing, painting and photographing the site. The works were further developed in a variety of media back in the studio.

The exhibition provides an opportunity for students to share their work to a local community audience.
