NMIT students recognised at Worldskills Regional Jewellery competion

Congratulations to NMIT Jewellery apprentices who were recognised at the prestigious Worldskills Regional Jewellery competition held at the Malthouse Theatre on Tuesday 17 November.

NMIT is proud to announce that the winners were:

  • Melbourne Region - Celeste Thompson (2nd year) from Grounds Jewellery, Melbourne.
  • Victorian Country Region - Nathan Cameron (3rd year) from Cameron's Jewellers in Swan Hill
  • Tasmanian Region - Halina Kaufman (4th year) from Joyce Jewellery in Burnie, Tasmania

All three NMIT Jewellery apprentices will now compete in the Worldskills National Finals which will be held in Brisbane in early May 2010.
