Professor from Tanzania delivers talk on Public-Private Partnerships

NMIT's Contemporary Issues in Accounting class were recently given the benefit of a very interesting talk on the success of Public Private partnerships and how to assess them in his native Tanzania.

Professor Mudogo has a PhD in Accounting from Macquarie University, a Masters in Development Finance from Birmingham, and is a Fellow of Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA), Fellow, Chartered Secretary & Administrator (FCIS) (UK).

He has extensive experience in industry, academia and is currently the Resident Consultant in Public Financial Management (PFM) Reforms in Tanzania working as Advisor for the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance for the United Republic of Tanzania. His particular expertise is in this role to advise the Tanzanian Government on sovereign rating and sovereign bond issuance processes.

Professor Mudogo has written many papers and research reports informing his extensive curriculum development in and around financial management accounting. His current research interest is around Public Private Partnerships and Sustainability.
