Inaugural NEXUS Festival a success

30 May 2011

The Bachelor of Illustration inaugural NEXUS Festival at the Fairfield Campus has been hailed a success. The festival was held over three days from 10 to 12th May and comprised animations, films, collaborative performance, graphic novels, comics, exhibition, storyboard workshops, discussion panels and a book fair.

Several noted guests attended and gave presentations. Sessions were very well attended, with registrations from both the student body and external attendees.

The consensus was that it was very successful, and thoroughly enjoyed by guest presenters and audience participants alike.

"Well done to all the Bachelor of Illustration staff team for hard work, inspiration and collaborative effort. We look forward to continuing to build on this for the next NEXUS Festival!" said Dr Colleen Morris, Head of Program of the Bachelor of Illustration.

Watch out for the festival next year.
