Faculty of Engineering Awards Night 2011

The Faculty of Engineering Awards Night was held at the Heidelberg Campus Conference Centre on 11 May 2011.

There were 43 training awards presented on the night to outstanding students from within Jewellery, Locksmithing, Electrical, Fabrication, Fitting Machining, Power Industry, Computer Systems, Electronics, Data Communications, and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Programs.

The evening was attended by 152 people including students, family, employers, industry, sponsors and NMIT staff.

Guest speaker was past student Michael Barton. Lucas Ellis was named the outstanding student of the year for the Faculty of Engineering.
