Murphy Ryland, a Diploma of Photo Imaging student at NMIT’s Fairfield Campus, and Jess Pickering, a prospective NMIT student, were delighted to win Soniq TVs in NMIT’s recent Smart Website competition.
The competition was run to highlight the launch of NMIT’s new look ‘smart’ website earlier this year.
The new website offers quick and easy access to information about NMIT’s 500 courses and the types of career opportunities available for graduates in their chosen fields. It provides registered users with their own ‘personal experience’ by auto-selecting the news and updates that are most relevant to them.
Two Smart TVs were up for grabs; one for a current student and the other for a prospective student.
Current student, Murphy, already has a silver APPA (Australian Professional Photography Award) under her belt for architectural photography. She is now keen to build on the skills she has developed throughout the Diploma of Photo Imaging (See Photography study area) and shift her focus to portrait photography.
Originally from Darwin, prospective student Jess is currently studying Fine Arts at Monash but is considering a move to NMIT and has applied for both the Bachelor of Illustration and the Bachelor of Music Industry. We hope to see her at the Fairfield campus in the New Year.
NMIT wishes both Murphy and Jess all the very best with their careers and congratulates them on winning the Smart TVs!
