Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE’s (NMIT) new building will be officially opened by the Minister for Higher Education and Skills, Hon Peter Hall.
Official opening: Tuesday 16 July.
Refreshments 10am, ceremony: 10.30am – 11.30am.
The building features new high quality space and state-of-the-art facilities that will accommodate a range of teaching programs from TAFE to Higher Education.
NMIT secured government funding of $17 million for the redevelopment of the Preston campus in May 2010 from the Victorian Government (Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development). The remaining funding for this $24 million project was drawn from NMIT’s own financial reserves.
