The end is only the beginning for tomorrow's artists

16 Mar 2011

It has been three years of creative and technical exploration and growth for the first batch of graduates from NMIT's (Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE) Bachelor of Illustration program.

But the end of their studies is only the beginning for the Fairfield campus graduates as they embark on careers that will take them to destinations right across the creative illustration spectrum - from book illustration and animation to digital gaming, advertising and artistic projects, the possibilities for tech savvy creative illustrators are endless in the twenty first century.

A showcase of the work of the inaugural NMIT Bachelor of Illustration Graduates there will be an exhibition at £1000 Bend Gallery. The difference is that the exhibition will present work completed in the months immediately following their graduation rather than the best of their school folios. So the vibe will be fresh, adventurous and full of ideas and visions from the next wave of Melbourne artists.

The End is the Beginning exhibition will feature 12 graduate artists.
