Make Your Future Fit at Super Thursday

08 Aug 2013

Super Thursdays are great for finding out about a course or an institution but they’re also great for getting the ‘vibe’ of a place.

NMIT Certificate IV in Music student and drummer, Hayley Ohlsen, had heard good things about NMIT’s music programs from friends but it wasn’t until she came to an NMIT Super Thursday that she really decided it was the place for her.

“I ran into the NMIT staff member who I was soon to learn would be my music coordinator. He really explained in detail just how to apply and what the best options for me, the pathways for my studies and the cheapest alternative,” recalls Hayley.

“The big dream is to get into a huge band or work as a sessions drummer”, says Hayley “but I also want to continue studying so that I can teach music too”.

NMIT’s Super Thursday’s are a great place to get a taste of the study options available to you in 2014.

The next Super Thursday is on Thursday 17 October.

To find out about a course, just drop into the relevant department office from 9am to 4 pm and talk to teachers from courses and find out about your career options and pathways. From 4pm – 7pm go to the Super Thursday information point on each campus (see for evening location details).

If you’re looking for the perfect course in Creative Arts, there will be an information session at our Fairfield Campus from 3-7pm
