Aussie Olympian motivates NMIT Diploma of Sport Development students

11 Feb 2014

Orientation Week for the Diploma of Sport Development students at NMIT’s Preston campus will be an exceptional event, with an Australian Olympian confirmed to visit the students to speak about her professional journey as an elite athlete.

Bree Cole, part of the silver medal synchronised diving team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, will be speaking about her experiences to the NMIT Diploma of Sport Development students during Orientation Week, February 10 - 14.

The topics covered will include goal-setting and the hard work needed to achieve those goals, and NMIT’s students will be hoping for tips on how to stay motivated while setting off on their own journeys.

“Bree is an amazing person with wonderful firsthand stories about the highs and lows of being an elite sportsperson,” said Robyn Muir, Coordinator – Diploma of Sport Development. “Students will leave the session feeling motivated and inspired.”
