About the role
 

NMIT is seeking to appoint an innovative, qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Administrative Assistant.You will be a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with excellent subject knowledge.
 
Your primary objectives will be:
 
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and other support to meet the needs of e-learning activities across the VET and higher education areas as directed.


About You
 

The successful applicant will be a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with:

  • An appropriate post-secondary qualification or extensive experience in administrative support roles preferably in a tertiary education setting;
  • High level computer literacy including: drafting and formatting documents, producing spread sheets, reports and correspondence; production of presentations;
  • Demonstrated excellent organisational and problem-solving skills illustrated by the ability to be proactive, successfully arrange priorities, meet deadlines and continually improve operational strategies;
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with confidence to deal with a wide-range of people internally and externally;

Salary


The salary will be in the range of $43,112 - $45,648 (AO4.1 – AO4.4) per annum
