The nationally accredited SHB30416 Certificate III in Hairdressing will give you the primary skills you need to work in the hairdressing industry.

Trade Support Loan (TSL) program

Australian apprentices undertaking this course may be eligible for the Commonwealth Government’s new Trade Support Loan (TSL) program.

Assessment Methods

Assessment is competency based. Satisfactory completion of each learning outcome is required. Some competencies may be assessed through course work while others may be achieved through on-the-job training


There is no materials fee.

Entrance Requirements

Apprentices applying must be over the age of 15 and currently employed in the industry and indentured to a tradesperson.

Pathways to further study

The Certificate III in Hairdressing may encourage you to go on to pursue further qualifications in this field

Students may enter into the industry as hairdressers.
