Illustration has long been a prominent part of Melbourne Polytechnic’s art courses, and as a degree, the current program continues that tradition. Cultural and technological changes have reshaped the visual culture landscape this century, and while the Bachelor of Illustration embraces all avenues of visual creativity, individual perception and understanding underpin ingenuity.
For the Illustration Degree graduates, this exhibition represents the culmination of three years of concentrated creative thinking and work. The show features imaginative and authorial imagery, storytelling, and a collection of creative works suited to a competitive and evolving industry.
The exhibition will be held at No Vacancy Gallery in Melbourne CBD from 2 to 7 December, with a night of celebration on Friday, 5 December.
