Melbourne Polytechnic has a long history in teaching-learning support and participates in regular re-accreditation processes. Our Education Support courses provide you with comprehensive and high-quality training for working with students with special needs.
They are specifically designed to optimise the skills of people who would like to work in schools supporting students in the classroom. The courses offer practical experience, including work placements and excursions to primary schools to hear from industry speakers.
Graduates can gain employment as an education assistant, teacher aide, education support worker or Indigenous language and culture teaching assistant.
