Additional expenses

The Student Services and Amenities Fee is charged at fifty cents (50 cents) per student contact hour and is capped over a twelve (12) month period, effective from the enrolment date, to:

  • $260 for full fee-paying students; and
  • $180 for concession-paying students studying Certificate I, II, III, or IV.

Amenities fees are used to improve non-academic services including libraries, counselling services, student support, and recreational activities.

Requirements

To enrol in the 6-month part time program, you must have completed the Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) CPC50220, including the following units:

  • BSBWHS513 Lead WHS risk management
  • CPCCBC4001 Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for Class 1 and 10 buildings
  • CPCCBC4053 Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for Class 2 - 9, type C
  • CPCCBC5002 Monitor costing systems on complex building and construction projects
  • CPCCBC5005 Select and manage building and construction contractors
  • CPCCBC5007 Administer the legal obligations of a building or construction contractor
  • CPCCBC5019 Manage building and construction business finances
  • CPCCBC5010 Manage Construction Work
  • CPCCBC5003 Supervise the planning of on-site building or construction work
  • CPCCBC5011 Manage environmental management practices and processes in building and construction
  • BSBPMG532 Manage Project Quality

If you have completed the Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) CPC50220 with another institute, you may have completed different units and will need to have an appointment with the teaching department to determine which credits will be applied upon enrolment
