Melbourne Polytechnic’s Certificate III in Business Administration (Education) will teach you the skills you need to provide administrative support to educational practitioners. This entry-level course starts a solid base in generalised administrative skills, before moving into skills necessary for the education industry. Education is a $131 billion industry in Australia alone and skilled administrators are always needed.
Melbourne Polytechnic’s unique offering focuses on practical learning and job-ready skills. Our industry-experienced teachers will train you in best practice for education administration, including transferable skills, such as scheduling, digital document production, spreadsheets, record-keeping and more. You’ll also learn basic legal knowledge to assist in your day-to-day tasks as an administrator and specialised software skills for education administration.
You’ll graduate from Melbourne Polytechnic with the essential skills and knowledge to gain employment within administration in any sector, and with the specialised skills necessary for education administration. You might work as a junior personal assistant, a receptionist, or an administration assistant in primary and secondary schools and registered training organisations. Additionally, Melbourne Polytechnic enables you to broaden your employability, by offering the opportunity to complete the Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical) alongside the Certificate III in Business Administration (Education), and learn specialist skills in business administration across the health sectors.
