Our Industrial Skills courses are designed to equip you with the skills needed for construction work. Whether you want to pursue a career in general civil construction or specialised machinery operation, Melbourne Polytechnic has you covered.

Melbourne Polytechnic’s Industry Skills courses will provide you with a comprehensive education in all things construction. You will learn skills in a variety of areas: measuring and calculating, manual excavating, installing trench support, and concreting. You will learn how to identify, locate and protect underground services, learn basic earthmoving and specialised forklift operation.
