Course Outline

  • Introduction to Carpentry hand tools and general safety
  • Completion of hand tool exercises. Intro to power tools starting with portable power saw and electric planer
  • Slide compound Mitre Saw and it's many functions
  • Door frame and door hanging
  • Bearers and Joists
  • Timber Walls
  • Joining timber fastening systems
